Trauma
Holistic FarmacyTrauma
Comprehensive Botanical Support for Recovery, Circulation, Bruising, Swelling, and Tissue Comfort Following Physical Injury
Trauma is a six-botanical formula developed to support the body’s natural recovery processes following minor physical injury, impact, overexertion, bruising, strains, sprains, or other ordinary musculoskeletal stress.
Physical injury can affect muscles, connective tissues, joints, blood vessels, circulation, mobility, and the body’s inflammatory response. Recovery depends upon the nature and severity of the injury, healthy blood flow, appropriate rest, adequate nourishment, hydration, protection from further injury, and timely professional care when needed.
Trauma combines Dang Gui, Frankincense, Myrrh, White Peony, Dragon’s Blood, and Safflower—botanicals traditionally used to support healthy circulation, tissue comfort, normal inflammatory responses, and recovery from both recent and lingering physical strain.

A Multi-System Approach
Recovery Following Physical Injury
When tissue is injured, the body initiates a coordinated response involving blood clotting, inflammatory signaling, immune activity, removal of damaged cellular material, tissue rebuilding, and remodeling.
These processes are necessary for recovery, but excessive or prolonged swelling, restricted circulation, repeated strain, and inadequate rest may interfere with comfort and mobility.
Trauma provides complementary botanical support for the body’s normal recovery processes. It is intended for minor injuries and ordinary physical stress—not as a substitute for emergency care, diagnostic imaging, wound treatment, immobilization, surgery, or rehabilitation when those services are required.
Circulation and Bruising Support
Bruising occurs when small blood vessels beneath the skin are damaged and blood enters the surrounding tissues. Color and tenderness may change gradually as the body processes and clears the escaped blood.
Dang Gui and Safflower have long histories of traditional use in formulas designed to promote healthy circulation and the movement of blood through affected tissues.
Frankincense, Myrrh, White Peony, and Dragon’s Blood provide complementary support for tissue comfort, antioxidant defenses, and healthy recovery.
Unexplained, extensive, recurrent, or unusually severe bruising requires professional evaluation and should not automatically be attributed to ordinary physical activity.
Swelling and Inflammatory Response
Inflammation is part of the body’s natural response to injury. It helps isolate damaged tissue, recruit immune activity, and initiate repair.
A healthy inflammatory response should be appropriately activated and regulated as recovery progresses.
Frankincense and Myrrh are resinous botanicals traditionally used to support joint and tissue comfort and a balanced inflammatory response. White Peony and Dang Gui provide complementary support for muscular comfort, circulation, and recovery.
Significant, rapidly increasing, hot, red, or unexplained swelling may indicate a more serious injury, infection, blood clot, or another condition requiring prompt evaluation.
Muscles, Joints, and Connective Tissues
Muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, cartilage, and joints work together to stabilize the body and produce movement.
Physical impact, sudden movement, repetitive strain, overexertion, or improper lifting may affect one or more of these structures.
Trauma supports muscular, joint, and connective-tissue comfort while complementing appropriate rest, ice or heat when suitable, compression, elevation, mobility work, physical therapy, and other professionally recommended recovery practices.
Recent and Lingering Physical Strain
Some discomfort begins immediately following an injury, while other symptoms emerge gradually or remain after the initial event.
Traditional botanical systems have used circulation-supporting and aromatic resin botanicals in formulas intended for both recent injuries and lingering discomfort associated with previous physical strain.
Persistent pain should not automatically be assumed to result from an old injury. Symptoms that continue, worsen, return repeatedly, or interfere with normal function require qualified evaluation.

Following the HF Regimen
Results are greatest when Holistic Farmacy products are used in combination with following the HF Regimen, including its complementary approach to nourishment, cleansing, tonification, hydration, movement, meditation, rest, and healthy lifestyle practices.
You do not have to purchase a formula to benefit from Holistic Farmacy’s health education. You are welcome to contact us with questions concerning physical recovery, nourishment, botanical support, the HF Regimen, or responsible use of our formulas.
Our first objective is to help you make informed decisions and meaningful progress toward better health—whether or not you choose to make a purchase.
Suggested Use
Adults take 4 capsules with water, two to three times daily, according to the directions provided on the current product label.

What You Can Expect
Individual experiences vary according to the type, location, severity, and age of the injury; the structures involved; circulation; nourishment; medication use; physical activity; serving amount; and whether the affected tissue is adequately rested and protected.
During Initial Use
Some individuals may notice gradual support for:
-
Tissue comfort
-
Comfortable movement
-
Normal circulation around recovering tissues
-
Relief from occasional stiffness
-
Recovery from minor bruising
-
A balanced response to ordinary physical strain
The formula is not intended to produce numbness or conceal pain that signals continuing injury.
Increased bleeding, rapidly worsening swelling, severe pain, loss of function, or neurological symptoms should not be interpreted as evidence that the formula is working.
With Consistent, Appropriate Use
When used responsibly and combined with appropriate rest, protection, nourishment, hydration, and gradual rehabilitation, Trauma is intended to support:
-
The body’s natural recovery processes
-
Healthy circulation
-
Tissue comfort
-
A balanced inflammatory response
-
Recovery from minor bruising and swelling
-
Comfortable joint and muscular function
-
Restoration of ordinary mobility
The formula does not guarantee relief within a specific period. Recovery time depends upon the nature and severity of the injury and whether medical treatment or rehabilitation is required.
Long-Term Recovery
Long-term recovery depends upon allowing sufficient healing time, avoiding repeated injury, restoring mobility gradually, rebuilding strength, consuming adequate nutrients, getting sufficient sleep, and obtaining appropriate professional care.
Trauma should complement these foundations—not be used continuously to suppress pain, conceal an unresolved injury, or permit premature return to strenuous activity.
Important Information
Trauma is formulated to support healthy circulation, tissue comfort, balanced inflammatory responses, and the body’s natural recovery processes following minor physical injury, bruising, swelling, or musculoskeletal strain.
It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent fractures, dislocations, internal bleeding, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, infection, blood clots, tendon rupture, compartment syndrome, or another medical condition.
Individual responses vary. Botanical support should complement—not replace—appropriate first aid, diagnostic imaging, wound care, immobilization, physical therapy, prescribed treatment, professional evaluation, or emergency assistance.
